Pedestal Bus

The pedestal bus support is made of bronze and aluminum alloys. A heavy duty connector for joining a pipe bus to an insulator cap, the type RFSS combines the rugged durability of its copper alloy casting with the strength and resistance to corrosion of its silicon bronze clamping hardware. Cast of a lightweight aluminum alloy, the type ARFSS connects a bus to an insulator cap and includes bolts, nuts, and lockwashers of high tensile aluminum for clamping efficiency and resistance to corrosion. The base of the bus support features eight holes for rotation and angular adjustment. A special feature of this connector is the reversible bus support cap which permits either slip or tight fit applications. Steel galvanized bolts and lockwashers are included for mounting to the insulator cap for the bronze, with the aluminum all bolts are captivated for single wrench installation. All bolt heads are recessed for single wrench installation with copper. An added feature of this connector is the reversible bus support cap to allow for either slip or tight-fit applications.
