Guying Connectors are used commonly in ship masts, radio masts, wind turbines, utility poles, fire service extension ladders used in church raises and tents. They are used for deadend applications with overhead or down guy wire. Universal grade is recommended for use with aluminized and galvanized steel. All grades are recommended for use on common grade, high strength utility, galvanized and aluminum steel strands. Combination type guy attachments provide flexibility to terminate guy wire or fiberglass guy strain insulators. These connectors have more surface in contact with pole than other comparable guy attachments, and gives greater protection to wood fibers.
