Medium Voltage is a term used for a range of electricity distribution system voltages from 6 kV up to 36 kV. Cable accessories for this voltage range have similar design and performance requirements that distinguish them from accessories for ‘low voltage’ (typically 1 kV) and those for “high voltage” (typically 72 kV and above).
